Open University

  • Qualifications leading towards university degrees regardless of earlier education
  • Contact teaching; combined local and distance teaching
  • Collaboration with Finnish universities; the universities give the certificates
  • Law, psychology, health/medical sciences, social sciences
  • Lessons in c. 10 different subjects a year

Courses for Immigrants

  • For immigrants (more lessons than in any other adult education centre in Finland)
  • In cooperation with Finnish employment officials
  • Finnish language, Finnish society and working life, computer technology, handicrafts

In-service Personnel Training

  • Training for enterprises, trade unions and other organization
  • Custom tailored according to the needs of the buyer
  • At workplaces or in the classrooms of the Institute
  • Mostly foreign languages, computer technology, human relations and communication skills
